The Society of St. Frances Cabrini of Philadelphia is a fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making a transformative impact to both the historic St. Donato Church and our surrounding community. We stand on the verge of an unprecedented opportunity as we prepare to enter into a lease agreement with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. This is a historic milestone, as it marks the first time the Archdiocese will entrust a church's stewardship to a lay organization. As we collaborate closely with the Archdiocese, the Society finds itself at a historic turning point, ushering in a wave of change and new opportunities for evangelization, growth, revitalization, and deeper community connection. The excitement surrounding this upcoming development is truly energizing. We are ready to launch innovative initiatives that will shape our future and strengthen our ties with the Archdiocese. Our forthcoming agreement promises not only new beginnings but also a wealth of exciting possibilities.
Our mission and undertaking will be to preserve and restore the beauty of St. Donato Church, as well as, to fully embrace the responsibilities of financial governance and community stewardship associated with it. We aim to honor the historic and rich heritage, of St Donato Church which holds the distinction of being the only church in Philadelphia where St. Frances Cabrini worshipped from 1912 to 1914. As well as, honoring the hard working Italian immigrants who's blood, sweat, and tears built this historic church stone by stone to honor their holy saint. We envision creating sacred spaces and shrines within the church in honor of both St. Frances Cabrini and St. Donato, with aspirations to become a designate Archdiocesan Shrine.

If we receive your change before the processing deadline for the current month, we will be able to implement it effective immediately for that month. However, if your request comes in after the deadline, the change will be scheduled to take effect in the following month. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to assisting you!
Q: If I find it necessary to discontinue my contributions, am I permitted to cease at any time?
A: To cancel your service, simply reach out to us by calling (484) 416-0668. Please note that the timing of your cancellation will vary depending on when we receive your call. If you contact us during the current month, your cancellation may take effect within that same month. However, if your call is received after a certain cut-off date, your cancellation will likely be processed for the following month. We recommend calling as soon as possible to ensure your request is handled promptly.
Q: Will I receive a formal confirmation of my donations for tax purposes?
A: Every monthly donor will be provided with an annual statement that details their total contributions for the previous year. This statement serves as a comprehensive summary of their generosity and is typically sent out via mail during the month of February.
Q: When will my credit card be charged for the first time?
A: Monthly charges occur once per month. Your first online gift will be charged to your card on the date that your transaction is made.
