On Saturday, May 17, the Society of St. Frances Cabrini of Philadelphia, in collaboration with the St. Thomas More Alumni Association, Father Matthew Phelan, and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, had the privilege of hosting a truly remarkable day that began with a heartfelt celebration of the Mass. The service was co-celebrated by the esteemed Father Michael Shea and the insightful Father Rayford Emmons, who captivated the congregation with his powerful and inspiring homily.
After the sacred ritual of the mass, attendees were warmly invited to a delightful reception hosted by the St. Thomas More Alumni Association, held within the charming St. Frances Cabrini Catholic School Hall. This school is a historic gem for it is the very and only school founded by St. Frances Cabrini herself in Philadelphia. Here the atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and a sense of community. The event not only honored the faith shared among the attendees but also fostered connections among friends and family leaving everyone with cherished memories and a renewed sense of belonging.
